Hi All,
Upgrading to Genesis 2.0 has broken the main section on the home page for this Politica theme. I realize that this is an abandoned community theme however, it was fine before upgrading to 2.0. Can you share some thoughts or solutions on restoring the image border, excerpt formatting, and "Read More" button that broke during the update. I am having a hard time finding the issue with Firebug. Here is a link to what it should look like... http://www.simginsurance.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/politica-screenshot.png
Appreciate any thoughts or help you can provide.
http://www.simginsurance.com/October 7, 2013 at 7:36 am #65652AnitaCKeymasterSince the demo to this community theme is not available for us to look at, you should match up the CSS from the old theme with the new theme. By doing this you should be able to locate the issues. If you are unable to - just revert back to the previous version of Genesis (the one that worked) and it will restore it.

Do you mean match up the CSS from Genesis 1.9 to the new Genesis? The child theme did not change but Genesis was upgraded.
Is there an easy way to find old Genesis versions within Studiopress?
Thanks for your thoughts and help.
Matt

I just did this upgrade. I wish I'd checked the forums first, because I'm now having the same problems you were having! Did you ever find a solution?
Thanks!

Since I did the Genesis upgrade, the text for the excerpt in the Featured Posts widget is now appearing under the featured image rather than under the post title.
May 18, 2014 at 2:06 am #105711TomParticipantThe featured posts in home-top on your site use the Rotator widget. The folks at simginsurance.com *may* have replaced this with Genesis Responsive Slider. I've done it with the Crystal theme from StudioPress. Just a little bit of CSS to restyle the output. If it doesn't work, you haven't lost anything.
If you were thinking of upgrading your site for responsiveness, support and reduced bit-rot, the Readyfolio2 theme from Themedy is pretty close to what you have now.

Thanks for the tip. It turns out that when I did the upgrade, the image alignment for the Featured Image got set to "none". I set it back to "Left" and that fixed it.
I will keep Readyfolio in mind.

Please add this to your style.css file:
#rotator .attachment-post {
border: 10px solid #fff;
float: left;
