    I just picked up a UCC/SAN SLL certificate for several client websites, which are hosted under my main domain. In setting up the SANs, is it necessary to include both iterations of my client's domain names? For example, client.com and http://www.client.com?

    I know I can do a redirect using the .htaccess file, but I've read a lot of pros and cons to doing this. Any advice is very much appreciated.

    You shouldn't have to because the variants would already be included in DNS, aren't they? I guess it depends on which version is mapped as the primary in DNS.
