Today I decided to change my site logo on my magazine pro theme. I've spent two hours, and am still unable to figure out the correct size, and how to crop it, in order to have the logo look correct. This happens each time I try to change the logo.

The admin panel instruction is, "Click “Add new image” to upload an image file from your computer. Your theme works best with an image with a header size of 760 ?— 180 pixels — you’ll be able to crop your image once you upload it for a perfect fit."

I have tried and tried, and tried, and still it eludes me how this works. I am using an image of that size, and I try every configuration I can think of, on and on, and still, either the logo appears too small, too large, or is not clear, ie is fuzzy. I'm not "trying" to get it wrong, but I haven't been able to figure out what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

What size do you want the logo to be? You can change the dimensions by editing functions.php around line 102. You'll also have to adjust the CSS to accommodate the different size. Use your browser's built-in inspection tool to find the correct CSS to change.

As an FYI, SVG images produce the best results for enlarging and reducing the size of images. WordPress does not support SVG natively, so you have to use the SVG support plugin.

Thanks very much for your help. A few days ago, suddenly I stumbled upon the right size, which displays clearly and at the size I want.
