I've uploaded a wave shaped image with a transparent background for the slider on this site, and where it should be completely transparent and showing the image, there is a solid black area that looks horrible. I can't find where to get rid of that. Help!

    Oh Erica,
    It's seems like you're so manipulative! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I took a look at the image... I think you just saved it without the transparency intact. It didn't seem to have any anti-aliasing, either, the curve has a rough edge, so to speak. Check again with your graphics editor.

    Cheers, Dave

Ha. This is going to sound really silly... The client has added a watermark plugin that was modifying every image uploaded. Once I turned that off I was able to upload the image then turn the plugin back on. It worked. I knew we saved the image out correctly!!

    Ah!
Site crushed by client. In other words, a normal day! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Glad you found the cause.
