Translations for infinity pro

Hi,

I would like to translate some strings of infinity-pro theme in italian with poedit.

I have followed this guide https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/getting-started/translations/translating-genesis-and-studiopress-themes/ and also this one https://studiopress.blog/translate-genesis-themes/but I can't see any results.

In the past I used genesis translation plugin but now it is not downloadable anymore.

Is is possible to translate via poedit a child theme? I don't want to use other plugins.

If is not possible I will change the text (for example Front Page 1) directly in functions.php.

Yes you can use Poedit to create your own translations. The delivered infinity-pro.pot file is in the theme's languages directory.

I have made the translations via poedit from infinity-pro.pot generating the it.po and it.mo but I can't see the translations in the backend of the site, they simply don't work.
