    Hi,

I have the automatic excepts of posts on my homepage but I would like to translate the read more text to say something in French.

How can i change the read more text just to say something else?

I have looked at this and tried implementing this into functions.php and it breaks the website.

How to Customize the WordPress Read More Link

    Thanks

    Hi,
Ren's code is usually quite reliable. That's a complex situation, though, and it would be easy to have a typo. He's describing a situation where someone uses the "more" tag from the WordPress editor. This isn't something I typically use.

I don't know your exact context, but here's a shorter bit you can try. It's not for use the "more" tag, it's used for the automatic excerpt, and it may work for you.

    Cheers, Dave
