Toolbar shows all the time

Hi
I'm building a site for language learning purposes using the Executive Pro theme. The black toolbar remains visible despite the 'Show Toolbar when viewing site' not being checked in my profile. This in itself is a little annoying but no big deal. More of a problem is that the site will be a membership site and (I'm using the Simple WordPress Membership plugin) and I don't want members to have the toolbar visible, which at present they do once they log in. Has anyone had similar issues and found a solution?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

This has nothing to do with Genesis or Studio Press themes and is out of scope for this forum. However, make sure you've cleared all caches. If that doesn't work, WordPress has a filter that can remove the toolbar with code if added to functions.php:

add_filter('show_admin_bar', '__return_false');
