    Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to expand a menu when clicking on the top level link. My website has a menu setup where I don't want the top level item to be an actual link, but rather just to organize the sub-menu items below. When viewing this page on a mobile device, the link gets clicked, but nothing happens since the user needs to click specifically on the caret to expand the sub-menu.

    Is this possible?

Please see my referenced website, viewed in a mobile layout, and interacting with the Galleries menu item.

Well spotted 🙂 It's pretty annoying.

You would have to make some changes to your JS file.

By the way, I can not right-click to view the source code of your website. Do you have some kind of a copyright plugin installed?

That is an Imagely theme, I would ask their support.

William, thank you for the help. I will look into that file, although I will need to find someone to assist as JS is a little outside my reach. As for the copyright protection, I think it is built in somewhere on my site, but I can't remember where...it is not a separate plugin, but might be a feature of the theme.

carasmo, Imagely doesn't provide "advanced customization support", so that is a dead end. Since it is a child theme of the Genesis Framework, and the JS file that William pointed out above calls a "genesis-nav-menu" entry, I thought it might be something related to the framework.
