    Hi,
I like to make a knowledgebase section within a website, in a map like domain.com/kb/

It needs a different styling then the rest of the site:

I think there are 3 options:
1- use a theme switcher like http://wordpress.org/plugins/jonradio-multiple-themes/ with a childtheme designed for support/kb like http://www.woothemes.com/products/supportpress/ ? (but that needs a wootheme framework.) ore a 'normal child theme: http://templendo.com/best-knowledge-base-wiki-wordpress-themes/'
2- make a knowledge base style section within my genenesis childtheme, but aim no coder ;-(
3- make a second install on subdomain like help.domain.com and make the kw there. But Iam not familiar with MUWP

I like to share plugins and costum code already made form my current genesis theme, so option 2 is not the way to go.

Any thoughts, helps tips, workounds are appreciated.
    - Did a miss options?
    - Any experience with a multiple theme switcher as in option 1?

Here are a few other options you could use:

The Encyclopedia, Lexicon, Glossary, Wiki, Dictionary or Knowledge Base plugin.

The Q and A FAQ and Knowledge Base for WordPress plugin.

The wpsc Support Ticket plugin .

What I would do is set up the support as a separate subdomain, i.e., support.yourdomain.com with a new WP install. Now that's just me. Because if for some reason you needed to take the support site down for maintenance, you wouldn't bring the entire website down. And your support would be on a separate database than the main website.
