I inserted the code snippet for a three-columned footer into the Footer 1 widget box and this is what it looked like. I am using the Genesis Sample child theme.

How do I create a three-columned footer so that the three columns span the entire width of the footer?

    Hi,

Genesis Sample already has three Footer widgets available.
I don't understand why you would need to create three columns in Footer Widget 1 when you want them to be full-width anyway?

    Hi Ataylor,
Genesis Sample theme supports 3 footer widgets by default, which divides footer into 3 columns. Put one book content to one footer widget.

Okay. I guess I should have read the theme notes. I thought those were separate footers, one on top of the other. Thank you!
