    Howdy All,

Big news, First part of Rest API is committed to core; http://wptavern.com/the-first-half-of-the-rest-api-is-officially-added-to-wordpress-core

Can we get a StudioPress view on what this means, will there be any Genesis Framework Rest API goodies coming? Is SP looking at adding to the framework at all for what's coming?

Even if no official word; it's time for us as WP Devs and Designers to heavily invest in expanding our skills beyond theme PHP snippets, etc. This opens a whole new world for us in rich UIs / functionality.

This is probably a great question for a support ticket, as the forums are only for community support (i.e. no StudioPress staff members are in here answering forum posts). If you want an official response, I'd recommend opening a ticket, then sharing what you learn here in case someone else is curious. 🙂

Whilst true this is a community support, we're the ones who will be building on the Framework and REST, so good to start discussions and exploration of what we can do with the two combined!
