    Hi,

I am currently testing out a few themes, and noticed that the tagline description in the Executive theme will not show up under the Header Title. It doesn't matter what  I do  -  it just won't show. However, the tagline description works on any other theme, I upload.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

    Thanks.

    Hello Julia

The reason for this is the description has been removed using a function which you'll find in your child themes functions.php file:

/** Remove the site description */
    remove_action( 'genesis_site_description', 'genesis_seo_site_description' );

Simply remove this function and your site description(tagline) will display.

    Hi Brad,

    Thank you  for that!  🙂

I can see the tagline description now, however, the last word in my tagline is being forced onto a second line. Is there any way I can get the entire tagline into one line, under the header title?

Reduce the size of the font or increase the size of the title area.

Try installing Firebug and inspecting the HTML elements you want to modify.

You can then add a new CSS rule in real time so you can test if it works using your browser before having to edit the code.

Good point.  Thanks Brad. I have Firebug installed, so will do that.

I'm running into this same problem, and I did remove that function but it still isn't showing anything between the title tags.

    Here is the site: http://fly.codeshippers.com/

    Any help is extremely appreciated!

Update: this is only happening on the homepage.

I also tried setting the "Homepage Document Title:" on the "Genesis - SEO Settings" page.

Still with no luck. Help is much appreciated! Thanks.
