How can i add featured image by url from my flikr gallery
I know there are some plugins but is there a manual free way to do it please support

You can use a custom field to over ride each image using a filter for genesis_get_image. This requires custom code however you may find a tutorial which includes this code.

Also, are you referring to changing the featured image on archive pages or single posts?
