    Hey friends.

    i have recently set up a subdomain and have zipped up and brought my theme over to make changes ( i have heard this is the best way), the theme is up and running on the subdomain but all the content (pages etc), and layout customizations have been left behind or broken. if someone could walk me through there process that would be great.

    i am using the minimum theme with the genesis framework.

    Once you transfer theme files, you need to either build Genesis Settings and widget contents again or use transporter plugin. Like for transferring demo post content use import / export in Setting section. For transfer of Genesis Settings use http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-extra-settings-transporter/ plugin.
