    I know to set the style for a list with this CSS:
    .entry-content ol li {
    list-style-type: upper-roman;
    }

      ? If I do that, then, how do I write the CSS? I've tried several variations, but haven't hit on the solution yet.

    You should be able to do "li li", like this:

    .entry-content ol li li {

    Try that and let me know if it doesn't work.
