    Hello-

    I want to remove the linear gradient on the front page 2 section of my homepage (www.hiydrate.com). Here is the code for it from the style-front.css sheet:

    .front-page-2 article:after {
    content: " ";
    position: absolute;
    display: block;
    bottom: 0;
    left: 0;
    right: 0;
    top: 50%;
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%, rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%); /* FF3.6-15 */
    background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top, rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%); /* Chrome10-25,Safari5.1-6 */
    background: linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%); /* W3C, IE10+, FF16+, Chrome26+, Opera12+, Safari7+ */
    z-index: 2;
    pointer-events: none;
    }

    My question is, do I remove just the code "linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%)" and type "none" in it's place, or am I required to also remove the moz-linear code (and replace with "none") and also remove the webkit-linear code (and replace with "none")? I'm not sure what the Moz and Webkit means and if it has anything to with a responsive website. Thanks.

    Hi,

    You have to remove those, too.

    If you look at the comments right after the values, it is showing which browsers (and which browser versions) need that prefix.
    -moz is needed for some older versions of Firefox,
    -webkit is needed for some older versions of Chrome and Safari
