I had a small non-WP website (www.jfm.info), that I am using for professional purposes and that was in need of modernization.I decided to recreate with WP, Genesis Framework and Streamline Pro.

Everything is going well. But I am intrigued by two small error messages that appear in the Genesis > Settings, although this does not seem to have any impact on the website.

    Below the box Header Scripts:
Warning: printf(): Too few arguments in /vdir/www.jfm.info/var/www/vhosts/www.jfm.info/web/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/theme-settings.php on line 1068

    Below the box Footer Scripts:
Warning: printf(): Too few arguments in /vdir/www.jfm.info/var/www/vhosts/www.jfm.info/web/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/theme-settings.php on line 1076

Since I do not use header or footer scripts, it is not a problem for me. Still, I would be interested to know if there is any easy way to fix that, or if it is something that may be fixed in a future theme update?

    Hi,

if you are using a translated version of Genesis, it could have something to do with that.

I would recommend opening a ticket with the official Studiopress support at my.studiopress.com/help

    Many thanks for your answer.

No, there is no translation available for that theme.

But you are right: I will contact StudioPress support. It had not come to my mind to do it, since the only time I had contacted them, they had advised me to go to the forum for help. But it was a different type of question, while that one certainly it is a support relevant question.

FYI, your intuition was right: it had something to do with translations!

While the theme is not translated, I had the plugin Genesis Translations active. As soon as I deactivated it, the error message disappeared.

I have it active on other websites in French using a theme that is not translated (hoping that it will be useful with a future update some day), without experiecing such issues. However, I realize that it is probably wise to deactivate it on those sites too, since it is useless anyway at this point.

Thank you for having pointed to the possible issue. This was very helpful.
