Sticky sidebar

Yesterday I've upgraded from my Eleven40 theme, to the new Eleven40 Pro theme. And I noticed that the header/navigation bar thingy is sticky now. Which is awesome.

So it got me thinking: Maybe I can make the sidebars sticky too? Like on Lifehack.org

Then I got a friend of mine (who understands some CSS) to Google around for a bit. And we managed to make the sidebar of my site sticky, yay!

Problem was that Widgets seemed to overlap eachother, and the sidebars basicly sticked over everything (like the footer).

The code that I used was like this:

.sidebar.sidebar-primary.widget-area .widget-wrap {
width: 250px;
position: fixed;
}


What do I need to do to make it work more like on Lifehack.org?
