I already know how to make my navigation sticky - thanks to this forum. Now I'd like to make a sidebar widget sticky, such that it "floats" and remains in view when the user scrolls up. You can view this effect here:

Jacob King Blog [scrolll up and the subscription field remains visible]

I'm aware there exists a plugin to do this: q2w3-fixed-widget

But I'd like to do it in a custom code sorta way. Anybody have a tip? Thanks.

    Mealtog:

There are several that I've filed away:

How To Make Your Nav Menu Sticky

Sticky Navigation in Modern portfolio theme

PS: I used Sridhar Katakam's method (the first in the list above).

This may be a bit off subject, but here's another resource I found really handy. It's a way to make your logo responsive, i.e. a way to have 4 different logo sizes ready to go and have them called up responsively. The Gensis plugin for responsive logo doesn't yet work for the HTML 5 themes.

    Have fun!
