    Is there a a general way to make the nav bar or footer links static in Genesis themes so that it doesn't scroll up when the user is scrolling vertically. This would be very helpful, particularly for mobile users.

    You mean fixed, yes you can set the position to fixed. If you only want it on mobile, you would have to add that into the media queries not on the main nav.

    Thank you. I took a look at my media queries but I don't see anything regarding the theme's nav bar to change to fixed.

    It is not there because the nav bar is not fixed it scrolls, if you want it to remain fixed at certain points, you have to add that in...Make sense?

    I think so, but I must be doing something wrong. I tried adding the .primary-nav section in this media query and it didn't change anything.

    @media
    only screen and (max-width: 1080px) {

    .front-page-2 {
    padding: 0 5%;
    width: 100%;
    }

    .primary-nav {
    position: fixed;
    }

    }

    Unless you share your site, I can't guess which tag you need to target.

    Thank you again. My site is http://burtwalker.com I'm using the Aspire Pro child theme. Do you need back end access?

    Add this to the existing .front-page .site-header tag

    @media
    only screen and (max-width: 1023px)
    .front-page .site-header {
    background-color: #000;
    position: fixed;
    }

    Hi Lynne. I tried to send you a couple of emails this morning, but they bounced. Did you change your email address?
