Is there a plugin or widget that I can use to create those sponsorships boxes that I see on so many sites? I basically want to collect sponsors for those boxes and want to present them into a few boxes along the sidebar.

Example here for the sidebar sponsors:

    Hi qleapent,

You could do it simply by adding HTML to a text widget. However the site you reference seems to be using this plugin.

Are there any simpler option to use apart from html as I am seeking a simple management interface? Crankyads seems to charge 25% for all sponsorships so I guess that one is out.

What about the sponsors box on this demo here: http://demo.studiopress.com/pretty/colors/teal, how do I do those?

    Hi Ted,

I haven't looked but I'm sure there is more than one plugin in the WordPress Plugin Directory to set up ads. What you see on the Pretty demo site is simply a text widget.

Ted you could use the Ad Squares to give you the 125 x 125 ads you want. I use it all the time - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ad-squares-widget/.
