Tossing this out there - I'm baffled.
The #1 post of my site is a letter my wife wrote to my daughter upon graduation from high school a few years ago.

For some reason, it's getting a 404 error now. It's still there, still published, and still shows up in a search of my site (see June 3rd, 20111)

I can see it in the dashboard, I can edit it, and I can 'save' it - but it's still showing as 404!

Baffled, I thought I would repost it. I grabbed the content, added a new introduction to it and tried to outsmart the problem. That new permalink was also 404'd! I changed the permalink - and still the same problem.

Sucuri says the site is clean http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/areweconnected.com

    Any ideas?

    Resave the permalinks.

Also, you look like you're using a plugin to strip the category from the url. if you have a page called "social media" as well, it could be interfering.

This is a core WordPress issue, not specific to Genesis.

Resaved the Permalinks and that fixed it! Thanks Andrea!

    * no plugin to strip the category. Wonder why that happened?
