Slow down sidebar scrolling speed

[kolbigray]

Hey there!

I've run into a little predicament. I was wondering if there was any way to slow down the speed of the sidebar so that when you scroll to the bottom of the page, the sidebar reached the bottom of the page at the same time the content does. My sidebar is a lot shorter than the content on my blog so when you scroll down the page, the sidebar content ends way before you get done reading the post. If my explanation does make any sense, check out an example of what I'm trying to accomplish.

If you go over to http://abeautifulmess.com and look at their home page, you will see that the sidebar scrolls a lot slower than the actual body of the page. I tried making the sidebar sticky ,but I don't know if I did the code wrong because that didn't work for me.

I appreciate any help you all can give if you have any ideas!

Thanks so so so much!
