    Hi all, new to the forums here and not overly confident with web design although im fairly ok with wp.

    Basically i have sleek theme which im hoping to use on a site of mine and would like to introduce a js slider to my header as per one of my sites. Id like to copy this over from my old site and introduce it to sleek theme. I have copied over the directory but im unsure as to what to do from here. having played about and failed, i came here in hope of some kind person shedding some light for me. I have looked on the search engines but things are not too clear to me unfortunately.

    basically id really appreciate it if someone can instruct me as to where to insert my code, in which directory or file and any other tips please. I just want this to show on my homepage. Thank you in advance!

    kind regards,

    martin

    Go to Genesis > Theme Settings and scroll to the very bottom. You will see Header & Footer areas. Copy/paste the code in header.

    Thanks for your fast input anitac! i was assuming id have to do i through cpanel on order to get this to work and add to php files or whatever but that is a great feature of genesis!

    i imported my js folder and have copied my script in as follows but its not showing up at the minute. must be a simple error somewhere along the line. i changed my source urls etc when copying across my script. im unsure if its my fault or a setting on the theme

    code as follows:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/cufon-yui.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/fonts/Museo.font.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/DD_roundies.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/jquery.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/hoverIntent.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/superfish.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/sleek/js/s3Slider.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.installerleeds.co.uk/wp-content/themes/mti/js/custom.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function() {
    $('#slider').s3Slider({
    timeOut: 5000
    });
    });
    </script>

    id still appreciate any help guys that you can offer.

    i have 'checked' my code for what i think is ok but i know little...code is above

    i have tried to paste it all over the place in order to get it to display anywhere but have failed!

    the temp site im trying to display this on is http://www.installerleeds.co.uk and id like to insert the slider into the top box please.
