    How do I change the color of specific widget areas in the sidebar and after post?

    I have a plugin that is using the default black color for the widget area and the submit button. I tried changing the background color in the theme's customize menu but it doesn't work.

    I'm ok with retaining black as long as I can change the widget area to a shade of gray to that the submit button will be recognizable.

    Hello,

    You need to add this to your css:`.content-sidebar-wrap aside.sidebar .widget .widget-wrap {
    background: #33333;
    } `

    Change the hex color code to whatever color you like.

    Thanks, Robin. I couldn't find a suitable color combination so I just changed the color of the submit button. It fits better than changing the widget's background color.
