    Hi,

    We are using generatepress theme at our website and want to know that how can we install genesis child theme without any data lost.

    Suggestion requested.

    A theme is a presentation layer. WordPress stores content in its database. Changing a theme will not cause you to lose content stored in the database.

    GeneratePress has their own set of plugins and widgets. You may want to ask whether the content presented in their plugins will stay formatted on a site when you replace your theme.
