I'm running the News theme on WP 4.3.1
I was getting 503 errors (Service unavailable) until I set my hosting site to automatic updates.

Now, I just updated to Mac El Capitan and today ( I thought, or coincidence) I might have a javascript error. I've disabled every plugin and although I got the site back, I still can't login to the dashboard.

Then I noticed the same issue on my PC, so it's not a Mac bug.

My hosting company is Media Temple. I used the Plesk interface to try and update or fix the templates. I might have screwed that up, so I re-uploaded Genesis and News again.
    Still can't login.

the culprit is somewhere in https://internetFM.com/afplayer (I think)

I'm an advanced beginner at best, and could really use some help.
I have three years of content on the site, so I need to proceed with caution.

Help- help - help - SOS!

    Thanks,
    Steve

If you use http:// instead of https:// the player comes up right away. With https:// I can't get your page to load.

With HTML5, you don't need flash. Media files will play natively. WordPress also has a built-in media player.

do you have backups? I believe MediaTemple have backups that might be away to roll back the site.
