I am using Simply Pro but for some weird reason today I have discovered that both the slider and the post excerpt 'read more' buttons have disappeared.

I activated the slider on the homepage and am running the home as posts - show excerpt.

I didn't change any settings between yesterday and today, so am bewildered by this.

Any ideas anyone? Has some wp upgrade or other genesis update done this?

Update. the slider reappeared when Twitter reappeared! Twitter was down. Can't think why the two are linked. Anyone any ideas about that one?!

Read more buttons relate to opting for content (with character limit). I'd like to use 'excerpt' on the homepage posts and still have that read more button though. Can I do that?

    Tnx.
