In our News Child Theme we want to show 'Birthday' messages after 3 posts on home page. So for the same I built 'Birthday' CPT and plan to loop its post in between main loop of post.

Firstly, I registered a sidebar (PS. After everything works fine, I will enable php in widget and will place CPT loop code in it) after 3rd post on homepage by using the following code -

everything works fine but somehow any widget that I put into the sidebar won't show up. For ex - I put text widget and wrote "hi from widget" but it doesn't show up.

The text that I put in the loop i.e. "hi from function file" gets printed exactly where it should be, but the text widget's text that I put in 'Birthday Between Posts' doesn't show up.

    Any Ides why?

    Thanks for the help.

Ok, after pasting this in git, I realized the mistake. It was because of the wrong 'type' of single quote on 15th line in dynamic_sidebar.

    Foolish mistake to make. :p
