Show posts in Category Archive in Random Order

[EyeOfTheTiger]

Hi,

I'd like to be able to show posts randomly when a category archive is visited, rather than the current (default) order which appears to show the latest post first. What code do I need to change in order to achive this, either site-wide, or on individual category IDs?

Thanks

Mike

Seems to work for me to 🙂 Thankyou very much - have bookmarked your site in case I need any Genesis help or custom work in future. 🙂

I have to say this: as a visitor to a site, I would HATE to see posts in random order.

There has to be some logical way to organize your archives that will be more helpful to your visitors, isn't there?

I think that depends on the content of the site. It's perfect for what I want to achieve, and to randomise the order of advertisers listed on my site.
