Hey I just tried putting some shortcode in a widget but the code is displaying instead of the content. The plugin is GridFX and I have successfully used it in other themes so am wondering if I need to do anything to get it to display in Genesis?
I am using Parallax Pro but guessing that doesn't make a difference

You will need to add support for short codes in widgets http://stephanieleary.com/2010/02/using-shortcodes-everywhere/
