Short code duplicate

Dear Studiopress community!

A few weeks ago I purchased a gallery plugin from Deluxe theme. Since then Im struggeling with there very limited support to get the plugin rolling. However, what ever I (or they) do the gallery appears twice on my front page. They cant fix it. Im frustrated but also I spent money on it, kind of like it (if it would work). The page is for my boyfriends car business and Im no professional so I need the support to help out. Seems that they dont know either. They made an update but the problem remains.

So my question to you genesis pros is there another way that I could try and make the gallery display on the front page. I want to exclude that the problem is on "our" side. Im using Parallax pro and displaying the gallery via short code through "genesis featured post" in the home section two. Is there another way that I could display the shortcode?

Help would be so much appreciated.

If you cannot get it fixed, you could perhaps try hiding the second one with

div.gridfx-2 {
display: none
}
