Hello! I have a "Recipe" page setup with an image gallery for the type of recipe. I would like to be able to click on the image and have it take you to a corresponding page. For example, if someone goes to my "Recipe" page and clicks on "Appetizers" - it would go to a new Appetizer Page.

I'm assuming you are using the WP Gallery?

Have you seen this tutorial?

Which then links to this plugin to have links on your image.
