    Hi all

I would like to set a static page as the home page on Outreach pro, but when I do that I still get the default front-page.php showing.

How do I get the theme to by-pass the default front-page.php file?

I can't provide a url as there is currently a holding page up.

    Thanks

Are you setting it to use a custom page, and selecting which page that is? If so, does that page have any content? Is the page content showing, but simply with the format of front-page.php?

I simply want to use a static page (home2) that has content, as the home page.

But When I set that static page as the home page (via settings - reading), the front-page.PHP page shows, the static content from the other page (home2) does not show.

I'm unfamiliar with your specific theme, but I would try looking in the Genesis / Theme settings, as there may be something there.
