    Hello,

maybe you can help me, I'm currently trying to set the landing page template as the front page of my domain.
The Magazine pro child them comes with an landing page template, and this should go as a first page when a user comes to the website (just for the pre-launch time).

I tried the menu of: admin - settings - reading
Bu my static WordPress page "landing" do not apply.
What do I have to define here?

Or do I need a special hook for the magazine pro theme, as the normal front page is widgetized?
Your help would be much appreciated, thanks ahead!

    Best regards
    Tobias

What happens if you copy it and rename it front-page.php?

    Or you could use template_include

Many thanks Brad, bot ways are working.
Renaming the front-page.php and afterwards setting that page as the front page is the solution.
Once again, thanks for the quick response.
