I've seen some themes where the media queries are in a separate file ie mobile.css - is there any benefit to doing it this way or is it just for organisational purposes?
I think it's mostly just a matter of personal preference. There's more of an advantage to combining CSS into one stylesheet whenever possible - I often put plugin CSS in my main stylesheet as well to cut down on the number of requests to load the page.
thanks for your feedback - I would agree and also thought the advantage would be from using a single CSS file 🙂
