Searchbox in primary nav disappears on magazine-pro mobile

Hi
i realise that this is almost the same topic as a recent post but its solution does not exist for Magazine Pro.
I have the function that adds search t the top menu. But the search box disappears when the site is on mobile.
What can i do to bring it back OR put the search in the mobile header?

ok, turned off maintenance:

Go to line no 2093 of your child theme's style.css file and remove this code

.genesis-nav-menu > .right {
    display: none;
}

Next you will customize the CSS little and fix the search form alignment for mobile.

can i ask
this is magazine pro theme

is it itself a child theme of genesis (and therefore wont be updated)

or do i have to make a child theme of magazine pro (as i gave it a go and it didn't work)

Magazine PRO is child theme of Genesis Framework. You don't need to create a child theme of child theme "Magazine PRO". You can easily update the Genesis Framework and you will not loss your customization.
