MemberI have been working with the Runway Theme, mid 2.0 switch. I worked everything out except for two small glitches. Her preview shows a search box in the nav bar, which doesn't show up for me. I don't want a search in the header, I'd prefer it sit in the nav bar. Any thoughts? Also the footer left widget is bumped so far right it's on the edge of the page, is there an easy fix for that? How much can we ask of the theme designers in terms of assistance?

KeymasterFor the search box, you need to activate that on the Primary Nav under Extras. Go to Genesis > Theme Settings. Look for Nav Bar Extras, click the drop down and select Search.
When you purchase a Community Theme such as this, you should always contact them first about issues with their product. The Community Forum should be uses for non-support/technical related things such as things that don't come standard in the theme you purchase or ask for help with customizing your theme. But if you have issues with a theme - contact the developer directly.

MemberI did contact her first, but she did not respond. I had two questions, the second relating to code for adjusting my footer widget area which is something that did not come standard with the theme that I purchased. Since I purchased Genesis Framework and this is a StudioPress support forum, I thought I'd try here for assistance in customizing the footer area of my site. Cheers, Madge

KeymasterOkay, you didn't mention you added the footer area yourself. That's why I said contact her because when I went to look at her theme - there wasn't an area like that on there.
What code did you use or tutorial did you follow to place the footer widgets. Also please note that this is not Studiopress Support - it is a Community Forum. Support issues for Studiopress themes should be reported under your my.studiopress.com account.

MemberI just added footer widgets, you just put code (I used html) into the footer widgets and they're generated automatically. The CSS has them bumping left and right. I will talk with a friend who knows code, no worries. I don't have an issue with the theme, I just needed some help in customizations. Thanks for the tip on the search box! I'm good and I appreciate the help.
