Sample theme: Social icons at entry footer

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if there is any written guide to add some social icons at post entry footer section. I tried using the php code that jetpack provides to show the social icons (using hooks) but it only works for the single post page, not the homepage.

I want it to show only at the homepage if possible.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks 🙂

Follow the instructions and replace if ( is_single with if ( is_home or if ( is_front_page on line 19

Thanks for your quick reply! Before i give it a try, is there any easier way to have this done using some php with the jetpack sharing which i already use?

I mean that jetpack gives a simple line of php to show them up. Some way to implement more php to do exactly what i want? Just giving ideas!

I am sorry but the page isn't live now! Perhaps it will be in some days but i don't know it for sure. The only thing that may help is that we are talking about a genesis sample theme, nothing more.
