    In the Genesis Sample Theme, I'm trying to increase the width of a dynamic text header. Is this possible? I know creating a logo that is a different size than the default settings is possible but I'm having trouble with making the width of my dynamic text a bit longer.

    The <div class="title-area"> is showing a width of 300 in the site title.

    .title-area {
    float: left;
    padding: 10px 0;
    width: 360px;
    }

    .header-full-width .title-area {
    width: 100%;
    }

    .site-title {
    font-size: 32px;
    font-weight: 400;
    line-height: 1.2;
    }

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    I guess you are trying to change the width of the <div class=”title-area”> as per width of content.

    Try the following css:

    .title-area{
    float: left;
    padding: 10px 0;
    width: auto;
    }
