    Hi Everyone

    I'm looking to use a membership for our readers (which will be free for them to join) and I'm looking at s2 membership I have a (probably very silly) question I need answered.

    Once installing the membership if I was to run a competition for example - sign in to enter this comp to win blah blah blah... - How do I get notified to say that this certain member has entered this certain competition? can this be done in the customization code?

    S2Member manages site registrations so the site admin would get notification of a new registration. I would use a form tool like Formidable Pro with the registration add-on to allow registration for a specific event.

    Hi Victor,

    Thanks so much for responding! Would it be better to use something more simpler for the website such as Simple Membership plug in which looks as though it does the same and once we progress perhaps move onto s2membership - it's really just a place where our loyal readers can log in, take part in members only comps etc.

    The choice is completely your preference. Many membership plugins offer similar functionality.
