Running Multiple Loops Using Genesis

Is there a basic best practice on how to do multiple loops on a page? For example, if I wanted to output a list of posts at the bottom of a page? I know lots of people use the related posts widget, but I'm looking at doing it without a widget. I'm aware of the way to do it directly with WordPress, but I'm looking for the best way in Genesis. Do you simply reset the wp query and directly call the genesis loop function again?

Good question. There are some Genesis plugins/methods for doing this, I don't use them much, because usually something will come up that a plugin won't do. In other words, I do it the way you do, more or less. 🙂

For an excellent WP approach by a top Genesis guy, along with a possible plugin to try, check this out. I think it will point you in a good direction.

Of course, I assume someone else will chime in with a plugin. 😉

For anyone else looking to do this, I'm just calling genesis_custom_loop directly with arguments and it seems to be working fine. I'm not even using wp_reset_query().
