Hi, how can I add a responsive navigation menu icon (ie. the 3 bar icon with dropdown menu) such as the one in the Modern Studio Pro Theme to the Genesis Sample Theme? Thank you.

    It's not difficult.

Take the jQuery, PHP and CSS from any SP theme that includes the responsive menu and add it to Sample.

    Hi Brad

Sorry for this late follow-up but I find myself with the same issue again.
Do you mind elaborating further on what you said above?

    Thanks,
    Eva

Please search for a tutorial as there's a few different steps you need to take to add CSS, jQuery and PHP code for the responsive menu.
