Resources with a "?" in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers.

I'm finding this error in my Pingdom speed test. To be honest I have found this with every theme (not Genesis) I had purchased in the past and usually add this to the functions.php:

function _remove_script_version( $src ){
$parts = explode( '?ver', $src );
return $parts[0];
}
add_filter( 'script_loader_src', '_remove_script_version', 15, 1 );
add_filter( 'style_loader_src', '_remove_script_version', 15, 1 );

Before doing this I'd like to check to see if the code differs

I don't know of any reason it wouldn't work with Genesis... Be sure to have FTP access handy just in case it breaks, but it should work just fine. Hope that helps!
