    I'm using the FoodiePro Theme and trying to reposition header setup so the logo and primary navigation menu are positioned next to each other, with the social media buttons above the nav menu. For reference, I'm trying to go from this: http://parchmentgirl.com to something more like this: http://www.thecookierookie.com. Guidance on how to accomplish this?

    hi parchmentgirl!

    use widget area > Header Widget Area and use Custom Menu Widget to display menu aside.

    My theme doesn't have a header widget area.

    Open your functions.php file and find if there is any similar line to the following code

    unregister_sidebar( 'header-right' );

    If you find the above line in your functions.php then just make it comment and after saving recheck your widgets and i am sure there you will able to see "Header Widget Area"

    //unregister_sidebar( 'header-right' );

    NOTE: Before making any changes to your functions.php do save backup.
