When I was using the original eleven40 I was able to create a widget area where I could control the content that gets displayed in the "featured area". Now that I have upgraded to eleven40 Pro it displays the "tag line/description" that is in the WordPress settings.

How can I go back to having a widget area that I can change the content from the appearance -> widgets sections of the wp-admin dashboard.

    By site is http://vosa.com.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the link to your guide. I followed it and noticed a couple things:

    1. In Firefox all pages, posts have the new text that I have placed in the new widget area. In Chrome the site description still shows up on the home page but all other pages have the new text. I tried clearing cookies and cache and the site description still shows up in Chrome.

    2. The new widget area only spans the width of the content and right sidebar. It does not extend across the top of the left sidebar.

Are you able to help to get the new widget area to show up on all pages and posts as well as span the width of the left sidebar, the content area and the right sidebar?

    Thanks so much!

    1. I see the email opt-in on homepage as well in Chrome.

    2. Try using "genesis_after_header" instead of "genesis_before_content".

This works as directed to globally change the tagline although don't understand why this is easier or better than just changing it under Appearance -- Customize.

However, I would like to be able to have a different tagline associated with an individual page - so there is a different tagline on each page.

    Custom Field plugin??

    Thoughts.
    Thanks.
