    If I follow the instructions here to change the name of a Genesis theme - http://www.rvamedia.com/wordpress/rename-genesis-child-theme - will Genesis automatic updates still work? Should I be concerned about anything?

    Thanks!

    No you don't have anything to be concerned about. I rename child themes all the time, usually when I first install it and start building the site.

    The Genesis framework is a separate theme so anything that you do to the child theme will not affect it.

    Hi,
    I followed these instructions: http://www.rvamedia.com/wordpress/rename-genesis-child-theme

    but there is one thing I do not understand ...
    In the functions.php file, the following line:

    define( 'CHILD_THEME_URL', 'http://www.rvamedia.com/themes/fusion/' );

    Maybe the path should be?: http://mydomain.com/wp-content/themes/my-child-genesis-theme/

    I'm a little 'confused

    thanks
