    Hello, I am trying to rename the secondary nav menu on the Innov8ive theme. By default it says "Categories" - how do I change it to say something else? I have a feeling I'm going to be slapping my forehead on this one… but not finding an easy solution on my own.

    Thanks!

    To rename a menu, select it, change the Menu Name, Save Menu.

    The topic title includes "Mobile Responsive" - did you mean to ask another question?

    No, I meant when you are actually viewing the site on a smartphone - the menus condense into a single word with a drop down - the top one is named "menu" and the bottom one is named "categories" - the actual menus themselves within the dashboard are not named those - I have them named Menu 1 and Menu 2 or something like that.

    I want to change "categories" to something more meaningful

    It's hard-coded in a JavaScript file ... which you can find under wp-content -> themes -> innov8tive -> js -> mobile-menu.js ... on the following lines, which you will find at the beginning of the file:

    $(".menu-primary").addClass("mobile-menu").before('<div id="mobile-menu-icon">Menu</div>');
    $(".menu-secondary").addClass("mobile-menu").before('<div id="mobile-menu-icon">Categories</div>');

    Download the file (unless you have access directly within your WordPress admin area) ... edit ... save ... upload (if required) ... then stick the kettle on for a nice cup of tea 🙂

    Tom - thank you for taking the time to reply - I really appreciate it. 🙂

    Erik - this is perfect - exactly what I was looking for - thank you so much!
