    Hi,

    Using:

    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' );

    ...i am able to remove the post content, but it leaves me with the empty html element:

    <div class="entry-content" itemprop="text"></div>

    I need a way to remove the open and close markup of the entry content, not the content itself;

    Would someone please help me out on this?

    Thanks.

    What exactly are you wanting to accomplish? There may be another solution.

    I'm with Juan - it's probably easier to do without removing the markup. Unlike some markups (header, footer) that can be removed with functions, this cannot. You can have a look at the code it you want: Genesis Framework > lib > structure > loops.php > line 91
