Remove text title on Streamline Child Theme

I'm messing around with Streamline Child Theme, but I can't seem to effectively disable the site title and description from displaying on the page. Suggestions?

Site Title and Tagline is unchecked in Steamline Child Theme -> Customize -> Header

And also unchecked uinder Appearance -> Header

I was able to hide it in Firebug by putting this in the stylesheet:

#title-area {
        display: none;
}
